The ticket is only Rs 25/-. As soon as you enter, you can see the Safdarjung Tomb in front of the Mughal Garden. 

Mirza Muqeem Khan, who was given the title of Safdarjung. Safdarjung Tomb was built for Nawab Shujaud Daula and red sandstone was also used in this marvel. 

When you see this tomb, you will be able to connect Safdarjung Tomb with Humayun’s Tomb and its design seems like a copy of the Taj Mahal.

  • Nearest Metro Station – Jor Bagh 3-5 minutes away from the tomb.
  • Local taxi and auto service- You can also choose a local taxi and auto that will take you directly to the tomb, through Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. 
  • You can also travel through your own private vehicle. 

Best Time to Visit Safdarjung Tomb, Delhi

  • Open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week.

I suggest you visit the tomb in the morning or evening for a better and more pleasant experience despite choosing the afternoon with extreme heat and sweat.
