As you step towards the temple you will find out that you cannot carry mobile phones, smart watches, cameras, bags, and other items inside the temple and you have to deposit your belongings by filling a slip. 

If you are planning to visit Delhi or live in Delhi, you should not miss visiting this amazing temple. 

Akshardham Mandir is one of the largest Hindu temples not only in India but in the world. This temple is divine and extremely grand and also has beautiful lighting shows and various exhibitions at night.

Best Time to Visit

  • Entry: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm (Closed: Every Monday)
  • Water Show: 6:30 pm & 7:30 pm

You can visit this temple anytime between 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. But I suggest you visit in the evening for a better view and comfortable cool weather.

Entry

The entry fee of the temple is ₹300 for adults and ₹150 for children.

How to reach?

  • By Metro – The nearest metro station is Akshardham metro Station, on the Blue Line.
  • By Bus -Travel via bus as there are several buses that stop near Akshardham Temple.
  • By Taxi or Auto-Rickshaw – You can also take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to the Akshardham Temple. The fare from the city center to the temple is around ₹150- 200.

  • When the wind blows, the audience can get wet from the fountain water.
