Firoz Shah Kotla Fort Travel Guide

This fort was built by Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq. Now the fort does not look as it was when it was built as only its ruins remain.

After the robbery, nothing is left of the property of this fort. Many times these things remain intact even after rains and storms. This is the reason why this fort has been kept safe for so long.

Then we saw the stepwell which was the main source of water. This is also a type of well where water is stored. After that came the main attraction, the Ashoka Pillar.

Ashoka Pillar is very interesting in itself. All the 7 inscriptions of King Ashoka are mentioned in it. Then, it came to Jamia Masjid, which is one of the oldest mosques, but prayers are still offered here.

Some people say that this is a haunted place. But I don’t think so.
